Hi
Anyone else have this problem?
If I start the engine whilst the stereo is playing (CD, Tape or Radio), the sound is totally disabled for several hours, or at least until after the car has been parked quietly somewhere for a while. When this happens, everything still works (the buttons still make the screen do stuff, and I can hear the CD changer and tape player whirring away nicely), except there is no sound whatsoever.
I have the standard Stilo Blaupunkt Radio Cassette Player, with the standard Blaupunkt IDC A09 CD Changer in the upper glovebox.
I know the obvious answer is "make sure the stereo is switched off when you start the engine", but sometimes I forget, and on long journeys I hate driving without music! I've already taken it to my dealer once but they weren't any help.
I've checked all the settings (including the mute button ), and I don't think there is a problem with any of those.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Regards
