Hello there i've bought a stilo with a few problems, it has a small box under the air box that a pipe goes to off the turbo pipe that goes from the air box to the turbo.
what does it do ?
can i just change it for an oil breather or does it see turbo pressure ?
I asked the dealer if they would sell me one and i have to buy the complete air filter at £150.

Yes; this box often parts company from the air filter.

It's the oil/vapour trap and as long as it's sealed then you have nothing to worry about. It's on the input side of the turbo so the biggest risk is sucking in unfiltered air if it's split etc.
