Does anyone know how easy it is to remove the front bumper on a Stilo with Healamp washers. Gonna change the bulbs in the headlights hopefully this weekend and any advice would be welcome. Idea's of where the fixings are would be a great help. Pics would be great aswell if anyone has some.
Cheers(y)(y)(y)

There are guides in the Stilo section, but bulbs can be changed without bumper removal you know....

Fairy nuff... (y) I got huge mitts and managed the drivers side without injury, havnt had to do the passenger side yet, but it looks straightforwrd'ish by removing the wheels and arch liners.

I assume if you have headlight washers, you also have Xenon lights. The bulbs are in the order of £80 each (not from Fiat). To gain access, it is probably easiest to get take the bumper off.

Why are you changing the bulbs?

I follow the logic (y)

...but some of the Xenon set-ups keep main beam as halogen (which would also mean the bulb is easy to change)

Sorry guys been at work. (n)
No, the bulbs are standard H7's (yes it does have washer jets, I think it was in the winter comfort pack) but I am gonna convert to HID's. The Drivers side has poped twice in last 10 month so hopefully the hids will cure it. Besides I have never been that impressed with the standard H7's. My dad has Fiat xenons on his MW and they are way better than mine. :) So gonna put a conversion kit on.

katanabandit1 you post some pics bet your car looks quite nice only saying this cause i have a 1.8 in black and getting eiback suspension be cool to c what its gonna look like

It has looked good from day 1 but I made a couple of changes over the years. The change from Blade alloys (gave to my dad for his MW) to Claws was one of the best one's:slayer: but the slight drop in suspension due to the eibach's ( fiat originals broke twice so decided to change) just finished the look's off(y). Don't know if you have got skirts and spoiler on yours but mine has had em from new and they really do change the whole look of the car. Dare not post ay pics of it at the mo as its filthy and every time I try to get it washed it starts raining(damn british weather).:cry::cry:

(y)Look like a good guide that(y) How long did it take ya in all. Were the wires just plug and play or did it involve some cutting? Any idea's about the headlamp washers on mine, do the caps just pull off the remove the bumper as in your guide or is there more to it than that:idea:. Nice motor by the way that's my 2nd favourite colour for the stilo behind black.

So I presume you have front fogs then?

Constant failure of headlamp bulbs could be a sign you need a mod to the wiring loom although the 2nd failure could be due to fitting a cheap replacement :chin:

if the guide was helpful.. click thanks :p
it took bout an hour and a half iirc.
my HID conversion kit was all plug and play, no cutting what so ever.
and it actually is as straight forward as the guide shows. (y)

cheers for the car comments. a few more things to come.. some ive paid for and i'm just waiting on them turning up now :bang:

Yeh, its got fog lights in the lamps. May be just the bulb but it ain't half a pain in the knuckles to change when they go. LOL Besides the HID are way better from what I have seen from my dads with em on.

If you pull the washer jet out you can see behind the plastic body coloured cover, i would imagine it will slide or unclip somehow.
