I take it you have tried all the breakers nation wide..that's going to be the best bet for you really..

A quick google search will give plenty of 'find-me-an-engine.com' search sites.

most of these engines die around the 50k mark, best to get yours reconned instead of buying another that might not last long

Don't say that... mine's coming up to 45k now

Mine died at 57k...

Camelot Knights is up at 80k... I'll be extremely happy to get that out of mine

It was good timing though - coming up for 60k mile service and timing belt, so cut my losses and made the right choice

i remember your post as it wasnt holding oil pressure despite actually having oil in it.

The Saxo we have is slowly dying with over fueling problems, drive shaft problems, waterwasher pump gone, rusty floor pan that citroen say isnt rusty enough for their rust warranty, some feck smashing the headlight and buggering off.

but its battling on and we will keep it till it totally dies!

oh, this is super rare, being the "2.5 v6".......

do they even do a 2.5 v6 model? looks rather similar to the abarth?

No they dont do a V6 and if you look at the pics it clearly shows an inline 5 cylinder.. now if they had used the alfa V6 in the abarth then it would have been a car worth having ..but they used the engine that was destined for a lancia intergrale and that never happened so they plonked it into the stilo instead ..the engine never got the development it should have and is as we know a very unreliable unit..

nevermind breaking it, thats quite repairable, unless something really major with that front wheel- but even that might not be as bad as it looks

actually that place is near me, might wander dow and have a look at it later

lol and mine has got the 3.2 Ferrari V8 also disguised to look like the 2.4 5 cylinder.
