Admittedly it wasn't a Fiat dealer and I already had the code card...
can get up to 8 done at same time for same fee

the ones without the remote part are much cheaper. If you are tempted to buy a key on e-bay, don't. It probably wont work with your car and you will waste your money when they try to program it and can't. They come in many different series and the correct series has to be ordered for your car.

mayb its worth the 5 pound risk in comparison to the 205 pound fiat charge

£45 pound risk. They will still charge you if you supply the key and they cant program it because it is the wrong key.
Agreed, its best to get the right one because the stilo has a very tempremental electronic system. Beep, warning, broke.

iam getting the real one
I think mine was £140 from the local stealer just for the remote keyfob and then £30 to code it iirc.
Thats not bad,try other manufactures and see what they charge.....its scary!

Did anyone hear about the coding of the key by inserting the "blank" key to the keyhole, turn it to "MAR" and then press the brake paddle by the key code with pause between the digits?
Maybe just a joke, but did anyone try it?

It would make life very easy for a car thief if this did work, so I doubt it.
