Has anyone tried this? It seems it works for Multipla and Alfa 156.

"Press Mode, scroll through with + or - til you get to 'service'.
Press Mode, scroll through til 'after' appears.
Press and hold (3 secs I think) + and - together."

Can't wait to try it out in the morning :D

let me know how you get on with the reset, would be great to not have to go to fiat for reset.

If I could find a way to take off and dismantle the panel with "mode" button next to the steering wheel and try to connect both "up" and "down" connections at the same time, would I have a chance to make it work?

Meddle with the electronics of your car :nono: to do so and you may well end up  Beeeeeeeep Beeeeeeeeep Beeeeeeeeeep Beeeeeeeeeep

Can you actually press both + and - together? It is a rocker switch, unless I'm looking at something else.

BTW it doesn't work, I've tried every combination of pressing and holding buttons to no avail. Either take it to Fiat to remove the 'service due' note or live with it. Mines done it for the 2 years we've had it, we just ignore it. (Look out of the window for a few seconds and you'll never see it) .....

Yes the car has been serviced, more than once, just not by the stealer.

If you manage to dismantle the MODE unit and connect both up and down arrow connections through the back wiring, maybe; someone should try that :D

After you, you go first and if it works I'll think about it for mine.

the only way for stilo is examiner the same goes for alfa 147

My Stilo was in the FIAT stealers for MoT today and I asked for the 'Service Due' message to be reset. Ha! what a joke - they wanted to charge me £20!!!! And when I asked why, they said 'it takes 20 minutes sir'. I said you must be joking - I bet it takes 30 seconds to connect up and press a button. I told them what they could do with their reset!
