Actually spotted a Mk1 Panda out in the wild today! :eek:

White Mk1 in the wilds(?!) of the A40 heading towards Burford about 11am. Numberplate was C something with an M&B towards the end? Pretty sure I've seen it on here, so come on down, you've been spotted!! (y)

I was in a black stealth Abarth Punto going to Cheltenham. Sorry there was no wild waving & flashing of lights - I was stuck in a line of traffic doing 45mph and only had about 10% concentration at the time (just enough to avoid driving into the line of cars ahead, with about 9% spare to spot a Panda just as it went past :rolleyes: ).

The only white Mk 1's I can think of are mine, Martin's old one, and one that had a thread on here because it was for sale on Gumtree. It had been restored using a few Seat Marbella parts and had lost the grey around the bottom.
 
Well it's not yours Vernon - it's not going to get out of its parking space in your workshop in a hurry!! ;)

Couldn't swear to it, but pretty sure it had grey lower half or I probably wouldn't have noticed it was a mk1 as it was nearly alongside by the time I woke up! Deffo "C" plate - come on who was it, I'm sure I've seen it on here........... :slayer:

I was in race mode to get to the wedding on time, so if you'd have blinked at the wrong second I'd have been gone lol.:slayer:

Realistically it doesn't go that fast but so much fun revving and zooming around the tight twisty lanes and she's perfectly happy sitting on the motorway at "80mph". Those tyres make an amazing noise though, sounds like a tank ..... vwaaam vwaam vwaaam lol.

A meet sounds cool:cool:, will think of a good location for it. Although might be spectating at combe end of the month anyway; will let you know!
