One of the most handy dandy tool I have ever used on a forum and have not regretted one bit is a spell checker.

One things I cannot stand is (wen ppl d-side 2 rite lik dis) and I found it was a deterrent and helpful for the little typo's everyone misses.

No you are entirely right I agree, it just takes time and it's something they don't give us when you're studying - and they say they try to make it like it is in real life - well they don't cause I work in IT as well as studying it and even with the smallest amount of time problems can be accomplished... well most of them ;)

Do a google search for a FireFox spell checker, I'm sure you'll find one! The ABC button on our screens links you to an IE Spell Checker so would be no good for you on FF anyway :p

True stuff there mate. One thing i hate is time. I was configuring a custom script at work last week that someone else had made (and made a pigs ear of the job) and its the kind of job you have to do really slowly and double/triple check everything, and then even after you finish theres something else that you miss.
Yeah well even if this problem is too minor (or difficult) to be fixed then maybe just add a little note into the FAQ. :)

OK cool.
Just a recommendation any mods that you know will no work with a certain forum skin/Browers/OS would it be worth putting a brief note into an FAQ or Help section?

Personally, i think its not worth the hassle for the sake of the few ppl that use different browsers (myself included).

W3c standards anyone? ;) joke!

Being a programmer in various languages, there is always some functionality that users request that is not cross compatiable on all running platforms for one reason or another, usually the Dev work required does'nt justify the end result... i've spent more time at work redesigning applications for the tiniest little change that the end-users don't even notice!! but hey-ho... it's their time/money they're wasting... I still get paid for it! :p

I use Google Check. Works fine and works in explorer toolbar and support many languages!!

even if you give people a spell checker it don't mean they will use it.

Im not saying it needs to be fixed now I just recommened that it might be worth adding like two lines into the FAQ or something!
