new post notification

Say.. If you post on a thread or you start a thread and interested if anyone has replied to your post...

how about a notification saying that a new post on your thread or new reply..

simple to add to the current notification system.

would be similar to how the Social groups work i guess

I use the 'User CP' to look at the ones I've subscribed to which is default set to all of the ones I post on and start.

not everyone knows you can do that. me included till about 2minutes ago...

it automatically does it for Social Groups, so thought why not for threads/topics recently posted in.

It automatically does it for threads for me.

I can do it for Social Groups as the database query is very small. It only needs to query groups you are a member of.

No way to limit that in the main forum I'm afraid.

you must have set your user CP options to do that
I dont think its the forums default setting

I'm a member of the business object board, and they email you if there is a reply to your post. How about that?

We have that already

You can set it up using the "User CP" link at the top of the forum
