Just a idea,but why not under each vehicle model have a sympton & cure page? I for one like to help (if I can) in diagnosing faults but am somewhat dissapointed in the feedback from the original poster of the thread.Alot of posters do come back & say what the fault was & the cost of repair but so many dont!
How many times do we get a posting that reads "help my punto is over-reving"? In theory people should use the search for similar postings to help them out but thats not always the case,I respect that not everyone also has the time to read through the reults.
So how about page where folk can simply look/write under that particular vehicle model section for quick reference (for example);
'Punto - cutting out while driving. Fault traced to vehicle speed sensor £60' etc etc.Just a few lines would be helpful to us all wether its a newbie to the site looking for a quick answer/cure or to the experienced technician who wants to build up knowledge of the models etc.
Obviously this would only work if people come back & let us know what the fault(s) were,surely a friendly reminder email would encourage them back to let us know the outcome
