Yeah - I got a Fiat one of these from Flea-bay. It has the FIAT (90's logo) on the front of it and on the reverse of the circular bit, it has the 00's Fiat logo. (Blue crest, or whatever you want to call it).
Here's one I made up quickly.

Yeah that would be expensive. Most of these are screen printed and that gradient has so many colours
cant it just be simple white with www.fiatforum.com on it in which ever colour like the window stickers?
Do you really spend that much time looking at other peoples tax disk holders?

that's true There's an idea. However, if this happened then, like you say, the identity needs to be as recognisable to the logo [with the gradient] as possible.

Ok so the company I was speaking to can do them for £13 pounds a piece for 10 orders, however it doesnt work out that great as they will be shipped to one address.
I'd guess that postage charges would bring it back up nearer £15.
Any news on alternatives? Could we perhaps have a single color version of the logo for the that I can send to that site and then he will give us a web page for ordering our holders with it on for his usual price.

Maybe so, but you could still purchase them and ship them from your address - the FiatForum shop does allow you to add posting charges, you know! You'd have to speak to Ben about adding it though.
Alternatively, if the admins / mods don't object, I could invert the colours of the logo to make it gray-scale like you require.

Yeah, the thing is it really needs to be a solid single color rather than greyscale. Possibly with some work doing to make the blue box appear separate from the word FORUM. Otherwise the F and O will dissapear.
Was this not discussed about 6 months ago in LL by Sammi? think it resulted in that not enough people wanted a cheap one... and not enough people wanted an expensive one so it was left. If one is made like PuntoSS suggested i'd buy one if it were a quid or so.

I vote plastic. The aluminium ones are only promoting the forum to people in the car. We need to show people outside, looking at the car.

When I get back to asia I'll get some pricing for both types then
Count me in! im in need of a new one. Got a cheap AA one in there at the moment but a FF one would be alot nicer lol

I agree that a plastic one would be the way to go, help identify fellow members more easily and promote the forum obviously!
