Sig sizes

I think we should have a maximum sig size, say a maximum height and width, like they do on some forums.

I dont mean to be a kill joy or anything, but peoples sigs are getting sooooo massive that its getting hard to read some threads and soon we are going to be getting one reply per page!

What do you reckon Ben?

I've finally had to give in and turn off signatures, they're getting stupid now IMO

Some people have pictures twice as large and file sizes ten times as large as those people were complaining about when this thread was first brought up. 500kb plus and a full page at 1024*768 is a bit much.

I did that ages ago.... however, turning them back on now i see what you mean.

I think a limit will be put in place, some are ridiculous...

Do you mean the guy with the green punto? i quite like the sigs and cand say i have a problem with anyones height - it is annoying when its too wide though

Lora, yours takes a second or two to load with it just being text - it's the large pictures which are a pain.

I take it you dont like my sig, ill change it tomoz to a smaller one if you would like.

BTW: its hosted on my own site and not the Forums (fiatforum.com), so isnt using your space.

Ive made it so it doesnt alter the width of the tables, what you think i should do? - Spent alot of time on it.

Edit: it isnt as big as some (sorry to point fingers - Black Cinq)

Obviously I'm not helping this problem (look down) perhaps the sig images should be limited to 470x70px + one 3 lines of text (or one single line - quote they're both the same)

like pete has said loras is mostly txt as yours is a picture it takes ages for any pages to load for people on slow conections.
