As Gene Simmons says: "Well, it´s a dirty job but somebody has got to do it."

Some facts: I´m norwegian. This forum is english.

Still many posts are in a strange language. Example below:

"Thnx so much really appricate it good 2 o ppl still love a gud uno now a days thnx for advice ppl ne websites for those exhausts".

What kind of way is this to write? Shouldn´t school DE-teach things like this?

I guess the forum´s majority is from the UK, but some foreign members are active as well. We are willing to help and participate, but when it gets annoying to read a post, it may get ditched quickly and not answered.

So please write so it is possible to read.

I´m done now. :)

Sincerely, Morten.

Cant we have a 'txt spk' filter put on the forum?

Its a feature on a lot of other forums, it changes all the 'txt spk' to normal English.

I suppose it works the same way as the swearing filter.

or you could move your finger off the key, and press the next one in the word your typing, instead of saving an extra (or should that be xtra :p) 2 milliseconds by missing one or two letters typing some inconprehensible rubbish, that only you, chavs and the mentally impaired can understand :p ;)

Anyone on here use Google toolbar?

Well, now there are no excuses - it now comes with a spellchecker - type your message, click on box, and it will highlight any 'dodgy' words (y)

Dave spellcheck on Opera comes as a plugin. If you click on Edit > check spelling it will link you to information as to how to activate it. It's a plug-in then you load the dictionaries you need eg. Ebglish, German etc. There is a keyboard shortcut but I can't remember it
