Can't say i'm a massive fan of the new prefixing (i dont *really* see the point of it) but it is here, so am guessing it is staying.

Is there any way to add an option to show a certain filter, or combination of filters as a default? Example, i rarely look in the styling section of the cento section so just having the filter on technical and general would suit me better :)

yes, but with the cruical difference being that when you click on the main forum link, it shows you all of the posts - and it is actually structured using prefixes instead seperate forums.

but yeah, it would mean the likes below would effectivly work like they used to - good times :)

so basically you want the little red dot clickable to tech?

i like arcs idea (y) that seems like a good solution

i like the concept of the new layout of the threads, and i can see how it would be easier to navigate, but i liked having the dedicated sections to each part better personally

it just seems to take longer to look for certain threads now and see what section they are from. thats probably just because having the 3 sections split made it seem smaller because you were automaticly filtering the threads going between the mini forums.

argh don't like change! *buries head* ? :D

I think custard missed my in the OP. Say for example i'm heading to the cento section, i'll click on General, have a nosey at that, and then click on technical, but rarely click on 'styling' since i have little interest in bodykits and the like.

I have rethough my original ieda though, instead of having a default filter for each person (i can imagine that being a total PITA to implement), how about simply making the 'General' 'Technical' and 'Styling' text that used to be links, back into links, but linking to the filter shortcuts that are currently at the top of the forum.

That way it is all prefixed (how Ben wanted it to begin with), clicking on the main links gives the view of all the posts, but clicking straight on the links below filters it and brings up the ones from that 'section' like it used to?
Hehe - so what I said in paragraph 2 of post 5 ;)
