Anyone tackled fitment of the slave cylinder before? How easy of a job is it, and whats involved?
Much rather learn more myself rather than hand it to a dealer!

Which is it? Master or slave? clutch, disc or drum brake?

Not too hard... I aint done it myself but ive seen it done on my Tipo in my Drive way with minimal tools

Might have to remove the battery though if I can remember correctly. just make sure when you reattach it you properly bleed the system of air or you might find yourself in trouble sooner then you think.

wasn't my cylinder that needed changing was a fluid pipe that had punctured.

easy job just remove the battery first. you will need a bleed kit to bleed it afterwards. Really quite simple.

A bleed kit - consisting of a spanner.... and possibly a teenager, mate, wife or girlfriend to pump the pedal... ;)

:D yeah I had my girlfriend helping on the coupe, only to find there was a leak on the rear sub frame - good work out though!!
