There is just enough room for some one in the back if i wanted but that aint happening because i hate rear passengers and as ther fixed back buckets and permanently bolted harnesses i doubt it would be very comfortable.

my mate had buckets in his mini before it got stolen and i used 2 climb over the seat through the middle and sit in the middle. was a pain in the ass. then it was even harder gettin out.

look ace buddy, really makes me wish i had cash for 'em in my cinqi :p
just in case ur wondering the prices are as follows

cobra clubman buckets seats £90 each

Sparco harnesses which are actually made by sabelt £45 each

you then need custom subframes for them which i made myself out of 20mm box section and seam welded all joins etc on to the runners that came with seats.

Sorry bushboy but ive got to keep these seats that are in my bedroom because i may be selling the car soon and the older type of person dont seem to like buckets and harnesses but i promise if i do ever sell them your the first person to know.

Rallcinq i know what you mean but my insurance will double if i fit a cage so it aint happening

As far as the mot goes as long as he can lean over to check seatbelts it is perfectly legal as i had the mot test man that did my mot a few months back check them the other day

and for anyone thinking off fitting harnesses, i absolutely love them and i dont move one bit when there on but it is severly hard to manouvre the car such as reversing into a parking space its unbelieveable.

Will it pass the MOT like that or will you have to swap them back over for it. Coz i thought you had to be able to get in the back easily to check the seatbelts?

Am thinking of getting buckets, but i think i'll have to get recliners (more money! :bang: )
when i bought my recliners a fair few months ago i asked about that an the woman there said if they dont tilt it is an MOT failure.... saftey in the back or sumthin! but she could of just been tryin to get more money out of me as the recliners were twice as expensive!
