Hi All.
I hope someone can shed a bit of light on a recent intermittent problem.
We keep getting the engine systems warning light coming on. Had the motor into a garage a few times and they have looked at turbo boost sensor and associated parts replaced but it keeps happening. Sometimes the light stays on all day, other times it goes off after a restart, occasionally it flickers but then comes on solid. The garage tell me it shows code P0243 Turbocharger wastegate solenoid A.
This is a 57 plated 2006 Scudo 2.0 JTD. No black smoke, no apparent loss of power. Everything seems to work as expected.
Can anyone identify where Solenoid A actually lives and is this likely to be the problem or something else we should look for?
