Hi everyone, has anyone ever had a repair to the central LCD screen above the radio? My screen is now unreadable, can it be repaired or is it a complete replacement?

Well I had a read through the Forum and couldn't find anything on repairing LCD screens. So now Ive replaced it, but the language is in Italian, mileage is in Km. How do I reset it? Cant find anything on internet.

Bigaldo, you're initial question was too vague to give any help, i.e. no details about your van, year, model or mileage?
Which LCD above your radio are you talking about? Is your van from 2007 onwards as my radio is set in the middle of the dash with only the vents above it & no LCD display?
If the speedo wasn't showing the mileage, this is usually just a bad connection or a blown bulb, you just pull out the instrument cluster & replace the bulb at the back.
Where exactly is Italian coming up on your display? If this part is from an imported van, you might need to leave it into a place that fixes instrument clusters & get them to change the language, ring a company & ask them.
Believe me, there are loads of posts on here about dash displays not working, you just have to type in the 'right words' in the search box above & you'll come across them, hope this helps.

Its a 2007 new shape Scudo 120 multijet. It has a central LCD on top of the dash board, above the radio. I have now got it working, but it is in French now!! and the mileage is in Km.
I now know how to reset everything, you do it through the radio/cd menu. however my radio is now broken. The garage has quoted over £400 for a new one. Does anyone know anywhere that does 2nd hand ones with codes?
