I've just bought the kit, but have to link to blue & me everytime i use. also it won't work through the cars sound system. Do i need a software download? any ideas please?

As i stated in the previous post's above you do need a blue and me software upgrade to blue and me map. the dealer you bought the nav unit from should have given this to you, or have done the upgrade whilst you wait.

If you get no joy from them, PM me and i will email you the required files but not until monday tho.

Does anyone know the battery life of the new Blue & Me Map? And has anyone any user documentation that they could post up?

Id love to have this in my 56 Grande sport. Any ideas on all the part no's ill need.

I've seen these on e-bay for £200 brand new.

Lol yeah my parts manager has some of them on ebay!

The part number for the version with the windscreen mount is 0071804250
and the UK maps mem card is 0071804261

I'm looking to get the Blue & Me Map for my GPA, has anyone used one of these in-depth yet?

For instance can you download POI , speed cameras to the unit? Does it have UK POIs built in or speed camera information?

I assume that everything is properly integrated i.e. I can listen to music and make phone calls while the sat nav cuts in with directions as appropriate.

If it's ok I'll buy the one with the sucker mount. Hopefully this will fit into the driver's quarter windowof the GPA. Anyone done this yet?

And of course, what do you think of the unit?

Hi. After reading all the above this sounds like a stupid question BUT can I use my GARMIN sat nav with this option? Is there an adapter to fit it so I can attached it to the car sat nav slot above?
