Anyone fitted window shades (not tinted windows) to their Qubo?

Not the children roll down type, the fitted type that clip into the inside of the window.

Beneficial to keep the sun out of the car, keep cooler and for security. Plus shades children from the sun.

Not to my last Bipper,or my present Qubo. I assume you mean those as listed on ebay?

When I had a Doblo Mk1, I fitted these. The blinds were great, but despite heating up the metal etc, I could not get all the plastic self-adhesive clips to remain in place for more than a few weeks at a time. I'd cleaned the metal window surrounds with alcohol etc, they just would not stay in contact, even the rears which went straight onto the glass. I have no experience of how well the clips would adhere to any plastic window surround.Hence, some fell away, got lost/broken etc. I even sent to the manufacturer for more clips. I was forever looking for a solution to the problem, but never really found one- I got sick of trying different adhesive tapes, and re-cleaning each locating point then resiting the mounts.

Those for the Doblo are much cheaper than the couple of products I've seen on ebay.. These look like they fit the same as mine did- I suspect they may be the same company/manufacturer. These more expensive blinds appear from the ad and video to use a different clip, which goes behind the window rubbers, but seem to still use the self-adhesive clips for the more difficult to access windows and sun-roof.

Others may have had greater success than me with the mountings. The blinds are top-notch,pity about fitting!
