Sunday: my car was fine and ended a 200 mile trip with a smooth run into my driveway.
Monday: my car engine didnt work whatsoever. Batterys fine, starter motor runs, engine wont!

Any help or ideas will be welcome. Has anyone had any similar problems. Course you have, we're all fiat owners!:)

Ignition coil failure? Really, it could be a multitude of things.

Did it **** down with rain Sunday night? If so spray wd40 around the electrics and see what happens. Especially the leads and coils, which have always been a bit suspect.

May seem daft but is there petrol in the tank (NEVER trust an Italian fuel gauge!)? And do any warning lights show on the dash?

If it's not a lack of petrol then it's probably something electrical. Make sure all the ignition and injection system connections are secure, look for any visible loose wires, and definitely do the WD40 thing on all the connections.
If that doesn't sort it, then it's more than likely a failed component in the injection/ignition system...and it'll be an absolute b*****d to find which part it is!

My money would be on a loose wire - I had an Uno that would rattle it's starter motor wire off every few hundred miles...[xx(]
