(T) Relay buzzing

Hi all I'm new to this found site on google been using it for last 3 weeks trying to sort my daughters poorly punto any help appreciated thanks
Fog lights on with headlights relay buzzing nonstop mechanic changed switch no difference, auto leccy checked all electrics and changed light stalk found nothing wrong I've had all lights off made sure all clean they all work fine fitted new relay all still the same not drive able because lights needed please help thankyou

Or, what lights work when/if you unplug the relay?

Hi it's the relay in fuse box in drivers side all lights work except headlights when removed.

Relay buzzes only when dipped beam is on?

Hi, it buzzes when lights turned on and engine started any lights on stalk but the stalk is also turning rear fog on when turned to headlights if you press brake pedal it stops buzzing or put handbrake on or turn off lights, when lights off if you indicate either way headlights start flashing as well. Car battery dead at mo cause been messing with it so much I can't check but think this is what it is doing.

Sounds like a classic earth fault. The problem will be finding where.

Thanks for your help, that's what we thought hence auto electrian but with him not finding any faults need to rethink could maybe be something else minor but where we don't no could he have missed a bad earth? Thanks again for replying

Does anybody know all earth points for lights on fiat punto 02 reg? Or which relays are for lights in engine fuse box?

Does anyone know what headlight servo on fiat punto 02 reg is and where I can find it to see if that's the problem for relay buzzing, read some posts on here that said servo problem on there fiat was causing there's to buzz.thanks.

No such thing as a headlight servo. The brake servo itself has no electric connectors.

This is probably the location of the problem. I suspect the relay noise is just a symptom. You might try running another temporary earth for the indicators.

he's not logged on since 2013 according to his profile.... also they are talking about a mk2 here and not a mk1. from skimming it i would say he had either a faulty earth or the headlight adjuster motor was shorting and constantly rotating (or both).

Whats your problem exactly??

With the headlamps off, the relay under the dash buzzes and the lights (side & dip) flash. Switch the lights on and it's fine. My daughter used the car to go to Uni and drove it on dipped beam all the time. Now the MoT looms....

The buzzing and flashing doesn't vary in frequency. Swapped the relay out and it made no difference.
