Just come across a spare radiator in my garage that I bought ages ago and forgot I had. It is made by AVA Systems and its code number is FTA2140

I THINK I bought it as a spare for the mk1 Punto but can't be certain
Anybody have the means to check the AVA number please?

A quick google reveals it to be for a Punto 1.2 94-00, so indeed a Mk1.

Why do people jump to instant conclusions and feel compelled to share them with the world?

I had tried (and failed) to google info on Ava systems; AVA car radiators; Ava Radiator FTA 2140 with zero success.

How Eklipze succeeded I do not know but I thanked him immediately.

I just searched for FTA2140, serial/model numbers on their own is normally a good starting point - when it comes to google, less is more

Because we constantly get questions of this type (not necessarily about radiators) but when some careful use of a search engine would find the answer.
