Hey everyone,

i seem to be the only person in the world wanting to put badges back on my punto rather than taking them off..

Does anyone know where i can get a "punto sx" boot lid badge as the "x" of sx is broken off and it really bugs my anally retentive side.. Have had a scratch around on ebay, i guess next thing would be finding a scrap yard and going armed with a screwdriver..

From reading a bit on the forums it seems that i might just be able to replace the sx bit rather than the whole thing is this right? is it just one badge for the punto bit and then they add the s, x or elx as required?

Hi.
It's all one badge. Try Fiat dealer, and again the scrap yard/breakers. Or post up a wanted add on here.

And if you resort to the scrappy/recycler take a length of fishing line, not a screwdriver.

They are held on by plastic clips though, 2 on each. I would use the fisdhing wire to cut through the foam adhesive and then open the tailgate, remove the plastic cover on the back then undo the plastic cliips from the inside with your screwdriver. Easiest way

The ones I have stripped have only been stuck on the bootlid, but I bow to your greater knowledge.

Mk2s are stuck on, mk1 plastic clips and stuck on,
I would have thought that Fiat would use the same SX badges on all their ranges, not just Puntos.

the sx is all one unit with the punto. its like "punto___SX" or punto___S

Nice to see you got it done, don't get it myself, putting badges back on  ?

However if thats what you wanted then fair enough.

You location says Oxford / Wolverhampton  Uni at one and live at the other?

Yeh, I did originally remark on the fact i was the only person in the world re-badging their Punto

good guess on the location, born and raised in wolves for 19 years and been in oxford 7 years... I did notice the tell tale gold and black in the signature :)
