Hello everyone,

Have searched the forum for answers and cannot find it anywhere hence the post - but if someone knows where a thread is concerning this please shove me in the right direction

I have a Mk1 punto and have put angel/halo on the car - only thing is...........there are 2 red and 2 black wires coming from each of the headlight units and I AINT GOT THE FOGGIEST WHERE THEY GO OR WHAT TO DO WITH EM!!!!!!!:bang:

Does someone who knows far more than me help plz?

are they proper angels (i.e. replacing both the headlight units AND indicators?)

are there any connectors on the lights? (any of them driect fit to the existing wiring?)

Any instructions on wire colours (we can tell you what wire connects to each colour in the cars loom that way)?

yes they replace the indicator and the headlights they are 1 complete unit

there are plugs on the back on the angels to connect indicators and lights etc but there are 2 black and 2 red wires coming from each on the untis and they have NO connectors on them

nothing wrote on the wires but it does say on a sheeti got that the black has to be connected to the negative feed and the red is connected to the positive feed as if not connected the halo can burn out apparantly

but no idea where to connect to or where they go

so everything is working apart from the halos?

if the wire are for the halos, then i would expect they should be spliced into the sidelight wires (not sure about the mk1, but on the mk2, the red want to go to the yellow/green wire on one side and the yellow/black wire on the other. the blacks want to be grounded (black wire)

yup everything working but the halos

another member said about wiring to sidelights with scotch connectors or route them with sepaprate switch to have on when i want but prefer them to be on with sidelights

the 2 black and 2 red dont come out the sama light it seems - each main light has a red and black wire coming from the bottom.

the side lights on the halos are a small clear bulb to which a black and a white wire go to in the back of them

does both the 2 red and 2 black on each side go to the sidelights?
