my vehicle seems to be sucking up too much fuel also stating that my engine management light is also lit on the dashboard roughly driving through town and motorway how many miles have people got from a full tank? is my fuel consumtion normal? i keep seeing the fuel go down every day? for 30 miles it moved 3 lines?

some please help thankss
regardss

i have paid £80 plus VAt for a Lambda at fiat also took the car on the diagnostics it says control heater 1 circuit malfuntion.also oxygen sensor present can't exactly remember mate. i have a spor air filter could this be the problem? also i have 17 inch alloys? the consumption is riddiculous..any ideas will these two things affect it that much?

anyone please help! my ecu has been reset however the EM light is still on?

Spor air filter, may have a slight affect but shouldint cause that much consumtion, about the oxygen sensor though that show up on the diagnostics test that can cause high fuel consumtion, how long you leave battery disconected for to rest the ECU? Best for you with the EM light on is leaving it disconected over night (if you havent done that) once you take the terminals off black first then red, then put key in igntion (only after the battery terminals are disconected) turn it on to postion II all warning light come up on yer dash an hold brake pedal or switch lights on whatever that should drain the rest of the power out the ECU, when reconnecting battery red on first then black try that if EM is still on its gonna be a trail and error game...

problem is sorted i had to change the other lambda sensor aswell changed it this morning and later on today the light turned off.thanks people
