Technical ok so when should i change the cambelt

it was done august 2005 (dont know what mileage) was probably around 60k, now at 69k

when should i change it? i dont know if tensioner was done, all it says is 1 timing belt- £17.00

Didnt you say this car has had an engine change at sometime, if so what milleage date was this ment to be carried out.

Tbh if the service history isnt all that good your are better off just getting it done and making a note of it, better to be safe than sorry as these arnt safe engines.

I honestly don't believe that engine has been changed. its too filthy and you keep coming up with remarks that point to another conclusion.

change it, much better £££ spendage then on ricing it out

iv got a reciept for it though from a garage

probably change the belt in may/june
