Hi I have a Punto SX 60 98' . Yesterday I noticed that my dashboard lights wern't working and niether was my right dim light, so I checked the fuses under the wheel and replaced the fuse which had blown. After that I checked the whole vehicle and everything was fine. A couple of hours later, after coming back from a trip to the shops I tested out to see if everything was working when under a bridge, and the fuse blew.

Today I went to Halfords and bought the last pack of 10 Amp fuses. Replaced the broken fuse and when i tried it, the fuse immediately blew. I have now noticed that my right back light is not working and the bulb is still ok (after having checked it). I have also tried using a number of other higher and lower AMP fuses as a replacement and experiment. Didn't work though :(

I believe this fuse controls the dashboard lights, left back light and front dim light and without it I can't drive at nighttime, and as you can imagine it is becoming very annoying.

It has been suggested that there is grounding on one of the wires. In which one of the wires is touching the car body. I have looked at the most obvious wires trying to figure out which one is 'grounded'.

PLEASE HELP ME. It may not even be the wires???

Thanks, Mark
