Same as me! My 55s is my first car and my first MOT wasnt a nice experience! lol

just got bk from the garage after my first mot and this is whats up

1- nearside rear (pipe to w/cyl) brake pipe corroded
2- same again
3- offside front (pipe to flexy)brake pipe corroded
4- nearside rear brake hose ferrule corroded
5- and the offside as above
6- offside rear (floor) seatbelt anchorages corroded
7- nearside rear (silencer leaking) exhaust has major leak of gases
8- tailpipe wont allow emmission probe to be inserted
9- nearside braking system leaking
10- service brake below efficiency below requirements

and i have bin quoted £250 any1 think thats a rip off????

Just how many Mk1 Punto owners DIDN'T get that recall notice? I've had 2 of the critters!

wot so i can take it to a fiat dealer and they will do it i only just gt mine last week so i dint know????

You can only take to dealer to enquire if your car qualifies for the recall if you have never said anything bad about your local dealership............thats everyone here f*cked then

Define 'local' , As far as I'm concerned my 'local' dealer is in Bury St Edmonds... 24 miles away

Dont take it that way,was ment in general.....not you.Notices are normally 'staggered' so garages are not overflowing.Cant be that many puntos needing this work done thesedays.......surely
