Decided to sod the warranty, if worst comes to the worst... i can put the old air box back on if i need to put my car in for a problem...

Got my K&N filter through... instructions say i have to drill holes in chassis, and move this panel over slightly to one side?

Anyone else had to do all this when fitting a K&N filter to a 1.2 16v sporting?

The K&N website instructions are different for my model.. seem a hell of alot simpler... the instructions i found on www.filterpower.com seem simple and dont involve drilling etc but the kit i got yesterday's instructions are different?

Anyone fitted one and which method did they use?

Feck all like the instructions i received. It is for a 1.2 16v sporting, 99 on as it says so on the instruction sheet I got.

it should go straight on to the original pipe which will have been attached to the airbox leading to the air flow meter and should contain a bracket to support it so it sits just in front of the engine and the air intake which should have come with it sits directly in front. i'll send you a pic of mine wen i sort out loading them on to the computer.[}:)]

Punto's Are The Way Forward!

Looks like they gave gave me the mk1 induction kit... the part number on the box is the 57-200, according to the k&n site it should be the 57-0381 kit i have. No wonder the diagrams didnt look right!!

The auto shop was positive it was the right one as well......
