Hi all,

As the title suggests, I'm having problems with the 'code light' (the symbol of a car with a lock through it). All electrics seem fine, but when going to start the code light comes on and it refuses to start. I'm aware that there are some 'standard' actions for this, so;

- I have tried both keys; neither works (but are both able to lock/unlock remotely).

- I have fitted a new battery. I know that low voltage can often play havoc with the ECU and immobiliser.

- I have left the battery disconnected overnight in an attempt to reset the ECU. No dice.

- It's been in to a garage who were unable to replicate the fault as - brilliantly - the problem went away after THEY disconnected the battery.

My next thought is to dig out the immobiliser antenna and see what condition it's in. If it's knackered then I'll obviously replace it.

Does anybody have any advice? I've read several threads in which the above steps have sorted it, but sadly it's not worked for me. A real nuisance as I'm having to take the other car to work which is leaving the wife and toddler stranded!

Any help hugely appreciated!
