Replaced a brake light bulb and accidentally blew the brake light fuse. After replacing fuse and bulb we now have the 2 airbag warning lights on, red stable and yellow passenger light flashing. Could blowing the fuse have upset the airbag system, or is it just conincidence and there's something else, the lights came on right after bulb replacement. Can this be reset by disconnecting battery for 30mins or does it need resetting manually. I've noticed there is a broken white cable in the fuse panel area, could this be related at all? Getting rid of the car this week for a new one, Sod's law this has happened. Help/ Advice is greatly appreciated

Remote Central Lockin Antenna - i have same for the Meta Locking Kit (fiat option)

As for the fuse for brake lights and bulb causing airbags is totally random...
The systems aren't linked for example

You can try a battery off reset - but dowt it'll help, but worth a shot
usually most of the airbag lights i get are diagnostic reset only

Cheers for your advice Ziggy. I will try the battery reset, I doubt it'll work too, hopefully it doesn't cause me any other issues. Would i need to take it to Fiat for reset or would a standard garage be able to reset for me?

Any Garage with a decent Diagnostic tool - but it'll charrge, depending how you are with the garage

OR slightly better option

You can download MES (Multi-ecu scan) free edition
Get yourself a suitable cable for the task you need (see there website)
And you can log in yourself, get the code and report back

My guess its either gonna be
A - Low power
B - Passeneger exclusion switch interferance detected / open circuit / short circuit

I've ordered the set of cables, £15 hopefully they'll turn up by Thursday. I'll report back, once I've tried the software. Thanks again for your help!
