This may seem a completely stupid question, however here goes....

My Mk2B Active Sport 8v, has a black bonnet, however the rest of the car is yellow. I am wanting to spray the bonnet yellow (and a couple of faded bits), however I can't work out what colour it is. According to the Fiat Forum Mk2B colour codes, the only colour is #258 . But this seems to be the colour for the Mk2, and Mk2B. But these are 2 different colours????

Sorry if I'm just not seeing something here, but I can't seem to work out whats going on.

Thanks for any advice, starting to stress me out :bang::confused:

it's most likely code 507, Fiat dealer will tell you it's Broom yellow. I asked a similar question a couple of days ago.

So... Not arguing here, just when you google search for both 507 and 258, both colours come up?. Interchangbly. It's kinda confusing tbh...

Ahhh, I belive i have the "milky yellow" so it's not "Broom Yellow" then? Does anybody know the correct paint code for "Milky Yellow" :p

Ie, of the two yellows, I have the lighter one. Thanks for all your help guys

So... According to Halfords.com, for Fiat they have Golden Yellow, and Broom Yellow. Thanks to old hammer saying he had the Mk2 with the darker Broom Yellow, I am going to assume have the "milkier" Golden Yellow.

Thanks to everybody for your help. And hopefully anybody else who comes across the issue can go to Halfords and be done with it :):)

That helps me too (y)

Don't go rushing out buying paint,
Double check first..

Remember paint fades with age and from being in the sun..
A proper paint place will make paint up for you taking this into consideration..they will also give advice...some of them are ex pro sprayers so they know what's what..

Broom yellow. 258 as a lot of red in it.

507 is indeed the other code according to google

I Actually have some Broom yellow 'somewhere' in my shed as i used to have a Seicento sporting that was that colour.
Regards Fading, there are bits that dont fade so badly (generally inside doors,, under bonnet. spare wheel well, and on mine they are the same colour as rest of the car. Fiat did paint Mk2B active sports Broom yellow (the darker shade) there is an 03 plate one near here that is that colour. They did also paint a lot of the 2B's the milkier colour.

I (Just now) rang fiat as the Golden Yellow was not a match. Fiat say that the Mk2B I have is code 507 Reggae Yellow.

Does 507/A and 507/F denote different colours?

Ahh, right thank you. Is Imola Yellow the same as Reggae yellow? or is that the shade variation?

I to have no sticker under the bonnet. there's no sign of a paint code anywhere... just the vin plate under the bonnet...looked EVERYWHERE!
