when i brake the brakes seem fine, but as i push on the brake more, i hear a buzzing(like an electric shaver) and the brakes don`t work too good. this has only just started to happen.

If your abs is cutting in too soon it could simply be that a wheel sensor thinks a wheel is slowing when it isn't. Failed sensor, wiring, plug, dirt all possible.Had any work done on the brakes or hubs recently or have you been off road:)

Haven`t been off road and haven`t had any work done either, someone else also told me it could be a sensor

Worth checking out the wiring hasn't come adrift from the front strut bracket and gotten chafed the plugs are secure. Could also check sensors are secured to hub and remove to check they are clean.

mine did this not long back and then suddenly stopped making the noise....ended up with a failed abs pump
