Hello guys I just bought my punto and realised that it has couple problems. When crossing speed bump after rear wheels goes down seem like something is touching a wheel or smth like that. You can only hear a rubmle when back wheels goes down from speed bump. IfI go slow thats grand but If i go faster I hear a strong sound. I was wondering what could it be? and also i have some kind of squeak noise seems like its insi a ar its light but annoying and no matter what its there...

Badly fitted exhausts commonly foul on the wheels - check here... could make contact as the suspension compresses after a speed bump.

Also handbrake cables - make sure they're secure and held away from the tyres.

I checked exhausts and it seems to be ok.... i will have to check other problems, thanks anyway:)

I think my friend may have one actually... it was on his car - i'll see if he still has it.
He took it for 4 new tyres and an exhaust. He told me he was getting a rumbling noise ever since they touched it. I took a look at what they'd done before he returned it to them... the exhaust had been clamped in a position that allowed the tail end to occasionally come in to contact with the tyre... all that was wrong was the backbox wasn't rotated enough to clear the wheels when they U clamped it!

Guess what they did to rectify it? oxy-acetylene torch on the tail to bend it out of the way! I saw what they'd done and couldn't believe it! Told him to take it back, tell them to actually fit the backbox properly and replace the new tyre that was already showing sidewall damage from the tailpipe!
