Hi, I have 2001 Punto 60hp and when I am turning wheels to the left and
reversing, CV Joint is making popping sound. No sound is heard when driving forward to the left.
Is it left CV Joint which is bad or is it right one?

unfortunately its not alw-a-ys- -tha-t s-imple
you could try grabbing the shaft of the joint and seeing if it waggles more than usual or obviously look for a splt boot allowing water ingress
dont rule out inner joint either

might not even be the CV's - could be the diff clicking its way out

But thats rare - i was unlucky with 2 scrappy boxs that diffs let go

I'd be wanting to feel for how much play is in the CVs
If the outers dont seem playful - the inner might be playful instead

Eitherway - i'd want to remove both - clean it all out - and refill with fresh grease IF it is an outer at fault
