OK im going to sell my Punto 55SX M reg, it needs a new gearbox however . Its done 130,000 miles and other than the gearbox is in good condition.

I was wondering how much you lot think i could get for it as ive seen some worth around £700+ in the papers, obviously though they dont need new gearboxes.

So any valuations?

Umm, probably not what you want to hear but with that kind of mileage and a dodgy 'box, you're looking at £300 to £400 at the most.
How bad exactly is the gearbox anyway?

well it makes a horrible noise, and every so often it pops out of gear.

put the thickest of thick oil in an put it through local car auction with a £500 reserve on it
