Have just bought a Mk1 1.7 TD Punto Van to use for work. I need to get a new lock set as 2 of the locks are not working. Is there an easy way to tell if my van has a coded or non coded key. I only have 1 blue key, the van is not remote locking and the key code light on the dash does light up briefly when I turn on the ignition. Would apprecite any advice from you experienced Punto owners. Ta

Just get a full lock set and ecu ect from someone on ebay who sells fiat parts and who knows what they are doing, probably looking at the cost of cutting and programming 2 keys anyway for the whole set.

and yes the car will have a immobiliser
