General knocking noise from the rear?

Anyone know what this could be?
I thought it was the shocks as i knew they were a bit weak, so had them replaced but it still knocks a bit going over potholes etc, not really bad but a bit annoying. It seems to be the right side.

I asked my mechanic if it was the radius arms or rear bushes but he said they looked ok (?).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It might be your exhaust hitting the top of the rear axle

Sometimes third-party exhausts are not bent to exactly the right geometry. I had a knock from the rear, and I tried to hunt it down, fixing a loose heatshield, replacing exhaust rubbers, padding the handbrake cables with foam, replacing a cable-tie with the proper handbrake cable clip etc... I still had the knock, then I had a new backbox and mid-section, and the sound went away. The previous exhaust must have been bent a little bit wrong, causing it to knock the chassis as it bounced around.

I have the same thing, sounds like 'shoes in a dryer' sort of knocking, but mainly when I turn right with one or more passengers in the car :bang:

And I just bought two new shocks for the back :bang:

And I had a new exhaust fitted a couple months after I bought the car, and therefore a couple months before the knocking started :bang:

Dang... oh well I only paid £40 for both and my friend is fitting them for a bottle of whiskey i didn't really want :worship:
