whas just wandering what it means when the handbrake light cums on when i went round a corner too fast aslo happend on a roundabout once has this happend too anybody else ? mk2 w reg

top up break fluid happened to me
Not sure if its not a low brake fluid warning perhaps?

I had a rear cylinder leaking a little while ago, lost loads of fluid and same happened...check it quick!!
I have the same problem, my brake fluid is fine. If fact I have had to empty some (overflowing after disc and pad change). Even before the disc and pad change, the light came on round corners. I think its only when turning to the right. Any ideas??

My girlfriend's car has this fault. Fluid level is fine, and by unplugging the sensor, we diagnosed the fault as the fluid level sensor. Now if this was a mk1, I would unclip the wires, unscrew the cap and replace with a new cap.
Because it's a damn mk2, you have to replace the entire reservoir! Why did they make it HARDER to do?

Ive had this before
When u say its full did u take the filter mesh out and check. on mine the mesh was blocked with it being so fine so it looked full but realy the filter was just holding the fluid
