ok so I know where I'm at now. Thats good. I think I'll just get a new key and if we lose the fob then so be it, we'll worry about that scenario if it happens. It brings down the cost a bit anyway in the meantime
I don't have any of fob gubbins (manual etc) I'm pretty sure it wasn't done by the previous owner (she barely had a clue what I was talking about when I asked her if it had had a service recently) and its not worth tracing back before that.
