Hi there does anyone know where the earth wire is on the rear of the punto I have a problem and it seems to be earth maybe

its normally the plug that goes to cluster and the bit it conects too that needs cleaning. just pulling plug on an off a few times is enough most of the time

Here- (C030- beneath the tailgate, in the boot)


Going by the wiring diagrams, the rear lights, rear wiper and the fuel pump all earth through here- which links all 3 of your problems.



(Note: the pics in the manuals are normally LHD, so sometimes you need to look on the opposite side when tracing wires on a RHD vehicle)

there is a earth point on the body along the rear panel on passenger side.Pull back trim to see it.

Danny boy did you know that your a star? I can't believe it I found the problem and tightened the screw. It now is perfect. Thank you ever so much for your help also i would like to thank all other members at Fiat Forum. yep it was the one in the boot.the screw for the earth was very loose.
