I got some guy to do it for me.. well ma bro actually sorted it out for me and he got his mechanic to do it for free. a friend of mine works in a scrap yard so i paid very little, second hand (this is why i did it so quickly and it was cheap)
Its a T25 turbo 285cam with a front mounted intercooler and a superchip re-mapped... my mechanic took it off todai cos it was ****in the car up (he is an excellent mechanic so its not him.. could be the turbo..)
anyways.. i think im just gona keep this car or buy an Audi a3
Remus
That's crap because:-
A) The T25 turbo is too big for a 1.2 and wouldnt spool up until god knows when probably 4000rpm..... Thats the same turbo used on the Nissan Silvia and any other nissan with the SR20DET engine which is >2.0L in every application its on and its even a bit laggy on that engine!.
B) You would need more than a super chip to control a turbo'd engine. You would need a complete new custom ECU such as a mega squirt system which would handle boost etc.
C) You would have to uprate the fuelling such as a bigger pump, bigger / more injectors as well.
Just drop it as you know your lying. I don't mean to be bitchy but someone who drives around on fox alloys doesn't sport the money / knowledge to do a turbo conversion as everyone knows fox alloys are ****.
