:bang: have a r reg punto sport 1.2 16v when i got the car there was no engine in it, so got one off ebay but it had no timing belt on it put it . did comp test they are ok did what it says in the haynes man for timing it up got it running sort of when i pull the plug leads off the spark plugs on 1 and 3 it make the engine die but 4 and 2 do nothing it still runs like a dumper truck if i switch the wires round at were they attach to the ht leads it then does it the other way round 4 and 2 make the engine die if you pull the plug leads of the plug and 1 and 3 do nothing hope this makes sens there is a spark at all the plugs carn`t think were iam going wrong

could anyone help please as i am pulling my hair out :bang:
