First off, am looking to lower my '96 P Punto 55 SX, been lookin at G-Max as they offer a spring kit as low as 45mm at the front and 40mm at the back, tho am not really sure if this is the best option? Am still on standard steel rims at the mo, but lookin to have 15"s by the end of the summer. Any suggestions on springs most appreciated?

Also havin a problem with my handbrake light, it seems to come on round 3,500rpm + when acceleratin hard thro a right hand bend, not a major issue but just a tad annoying! I've pulled off the dash to have a look at the wiring just to see if there was any stripped wiring but with no success, even had a wee go drivin with the dash half hangin off, but still the problem remains, so am pretty sure its not in the wiring directly behind the dash. Anyone with the same problem? Have no idea where the wiring runs from the handbrake to the dash so am clueless!

All reply's much appreciated!

Welcome to the forum, can't help you with springs etc but there are some experts on here.

The handbrake light (!) is also the brake fluid indicator so your fluid may be low, causing the light to come on going round corners etc so I suggest you check that.

Cheers, never even thought of that! Was always wondering where the brake fluid light was on the dash the muppet I am! That'll teach me 4 not readin te manual! Am quite sure it is pretty full tho, I'll give it a check anyways! Also, anyone kno where I could get anti rattle clips 4 my brake pads other than a scrappy?!

Cheers again

Jus wanna say cheers to Doc Pepper! No more brake light flickerin! Cheers!

Would still much appreciate advice on springs tho, am not really too bothered how low it goes, so long as the old shocks can take it and it gives the best handling for money!

Any replies most welcome!
