any sugestions?
thanx
:slayer:

Hiya,

Welcome to the forum and the joy of punto ownership lol

Depends on your taste really and also budget...might be worth you having a look through the gallery and on the members motors threads.

But since it is an S the first thing i would personally be doing is to colour code bumpers and take it from there :)

ooryt ok cool
im in no rush i plan to own the car for a while so budget cna be staged lol i work at halfords which means discounts woop however im still a student...
i like the look of clear indicators and side repeaters!
for the bumpers im takin it that is a respray job?
btw thanx for the welcome lol =]

Yea I did mean the bumpers, although i have seen a red one with original black bumpers, i think with multi spoke alloys and it looked so nice :)

And clear indicators are a good cheap mod that is always worth doing, can be picked up for a few quid.
Side repeaters again 2 min job and makes all the difference.

Both of mine only have subtle differences and my elx is a 5 door...if you click on my user name you will see my gallery link that may give you a couple of ideas :) (most recent pics are on page 2 i think)

i just took a look at yours and the colour coded bumpers do look cool!
think ama go for that lol
i really like your aqua/turquoise punto! thats the look im goin for =]
o and i think ama go for a beesting arial aswell, get rid of the fone mast i have now lol!

Bee-stings are ok...but looked really odd on mine for some reason...so i swapped it for a mk2 ariel...they are shorter and thicker, but didnt look stubby :)

O and thanx..my elx is my fav too (y)

And i will try to find out whos the red one with the multi spokes alloys was...cos that looked really cool with the black bumpers :)

I'd highly reccomend Sporting seats, I recently installed a set for my car (including a rear bench) as I wanted to finally rid myself of the standard seats that were now done. The difference in comfort was astonishing. Though when you take out the seats, make sure that for the driver's side you aquire the frame it sits on from the donor car as the chair is thicker and will make the driving position too high (at least that was what was in my case). The frame is secured with four bolts and a couple of screws on the plastc covers that neated up the appearence of the interior.

I'm going to install some colour coded bumpers too. May rethink one's plan on the foglights as well if I can find someone who can wire them in on the cheap. I only wanted the lights in the first place to fill up the holes in the bumpers, not look like a..."dunce," while driving.

Boo hoo my selecta has gone said:
lol :p
id get some sporting/gt seats, and elx door cards, them S seats and door cards are horrid! and a centre console, make the interior really nice maybe even finish off with a sporting/gt steering wheel and gt gearknob

Yep, I gotta say my sporting seats are much sexier than my elx ones :)

Although not sure how the front seats would look/fit, going from a 3 to a 5 door and you wouldn't have matching door cards either.. Boo, the sporting interior is black, elx is blue...would look a bit naff mate lol :p

Well you could always give it a go yourself, there are enough people on here that can help you out if you get stuck :)

 reminding me, poor car

ok, so buy some spray on black dye, mask up the plastic, and dye the blue black :p would be easy.

thanx for all the suggestions guys!
im likin the ideas about colour coding bumpers and wing mirrors =D
also alloys and the obv other changes!
keep em comin pleez

tint your windows, the rear side ones you can do easy diy, cant do the boot one your self though cos its too curved, but you might with a head gun, but you could get it done pro for £25 anyway, but do the side ones (y) tint film is only £5 at cheap shops, (in southend anyway lol)

heres what i did (y) =

all quite cheap to do :)

the window tinting is nice, looks awesome on your silver punto!
tbh i aint a fan of debadging, it makes the car look bland n im kinda proud of my fiat and punto badges lol =D
just wondering whats peoples opinions on rubber strips along the car?
on?
off?

yeah looked cool that (y)

leave em on imo, with coloured bumpers, they have black strips on, and they all line up going round the car, so if you buy colour coded bumpers, you need em or it looks silly tbh.

yeh i spose the fact they line up n stuff means it look odd without em!
just wondering, the time old question lol:
as a rough idea what size alloys could i put straight onto a punto without em rubbing or needing too much messing about with and wouldnt effect the driving of the car?
obv the size they are now which is just standard tinnies (13" i think) but im lookin a little bigger hehe

17" will fit straight on and you should be able to lower 60mm without any problems but they will slow your car down a bit, and corners wont be quite as good. so your really should go for 16's max, heres a pics,

14's- (not lowered)

Definetely OFF!!! Theyre a 5 minue job to take off, just pray that theyre stuck with double sided tape (from the factory) than stuck with silicone sealer like mine were (Cheap Sprayer) :( :( :(
