Re: The MPG Thread

6300 miles here and between 39 and 40.6 mpg. Cannot get anymore than this however I drive, mostly A roads and motorway to and from work using cruise control set at 65 on motorway. If I ever get 42 plus I will be amazed.

Re: The MPG Thread

Mines also running windows 7 64bit... no issues.

I've been using my car a fair amount lately and the IC is ranging from around 50-80mpg and I can feel it with my petrol lasting so much longer. I'm not keen on going slow but if its saving me money, I might as well do it :P

Re: The MPG Thread

Eco drive reports 34.9MPG from March 28th to Today
I can get the Average very high but the results arent "real" as they are accumulated over short distances, 34.9MPG is from 336miles
My best to date (according to Eco Drive) 38.1 MPG based on 29.4 miles driven

Dual carriageway and b-road driving gives me an average of 44mpg over 200 or so miles

Re: The MPG Thread

I am at 6500 miles now and I have gone from 35mpg mixed driving to 40mpg with no change to driving style. I expect this to get even better after the first service.

Oddly I find the AC has no effect on MPG??

Re: The MPG Thread

All back lanes on my route to work and I'm consistently getting 38mpg from my turbo which I can't moan about. It won't go lower than 11.3mpg on the instant consumption though?!

Re: The MPG Thread

OK, running on the black stuff (standard, usually sainsburys) but here's my two-pence worth. After 6400 miles:
59.3mpg Derby to Minehead and back over Easter. What felt good tho was getting there and back on 1-tank with about 20% still left!
64mpg on a reaallly slow run up the M1 to Sheffield the other day hiding in the slipstream of a lorry
It shows what can be done, but this isnt real for me. If I'm honest I'll average only 40-44mpg around town.
