hey guys, im bit confused atm, i have mk1 punto sporting bumpers, and i dont know whether to get rid of the rubbing strips on the side of the punto, and keep the ones on the bumper black or to have them painted over, or just keep the rubbing strips and the strips on the bumpers black, any help guys?

unfortuantely i dont have one of mine, but it looks very similar to this but with sporting side skirts and sporting wheels

Yeah. Keep them on. Those door rubbing strips are there to prevent idiots in supermarkets or car parks opening their doors and bashing your paintwork!

Yer keep em on i think it breaks it up abit, in my opinion it would probs look tooo red if u took em off. I was soo close to takin mine off of my yellow gt but thaught not cz i gotta black nd yellow theme goin on so it looks nice, got my window tints done today and thats summin id reccomend as it makes sucha nice difference to the appearance and really smartens a car up! i just need sum black rims now! But yer leave em on mate

cheers guys! helped alot and appreciated, ive just done a photo on the computer to see what it would look like so just to show you all.
