rite.... the vec gets 23 mpg, the cinq 46, exactly double. The cinq costs me £20 a week on fuel - the vec would be £40. So keeping the cinq saves me £80 a month. The insurance is £36 and the tax is £10 a month, so on the assumption i dont need to spend £408 a year on maintenance - it is more finacially viable to keep the cinq...is it?
mmm what's his power output...
Keep it for now and see how the Vectra goes, can always recosider later in the year. You eventually get used to higher car costs and adapt to it - I certainly did
There's gotta be something wrong for it to be that low surely?er.. i miscalculated - cinq is geting 29.55 mpg

lead foot?
Think of the additional costs of running the Vectra as an everday car compared to to the Cinq? fuel economy, consumables (For example if the V6 alternator packs in it is engine out time)
You bought the Vectra as a tow car so if it was me i'd minimise your costs on that, Sorn it when you don't need it overwinter, limited mileage insurance, lower miles = less sevice items. if you do that you probably won't be out of pocket keeping both.
BTW you can never have too many cars i've got 5 at the minute
so have you made your mind up yet....
Cinq must stay!!!!!!!!
i sold my cinq so i could get a focus, i ended up getting rid of the focus for the seicento because i missed my cinq so much!!
you just cant replace the character the cento's have when you drive them , i'd ditch or at least minimisze the use of the vec long before selling the cinq tbh, i've been there and done it..... and still regret letting the cinq go
