Looks good to me mate - AND I like the roof bars.(y)

Quick question - is that blue wind diffusers on your wiper blade arms?

Looks like blue wiper blades to me. Got a bit of a blue theme going on there :) Brake calipers next? :D

I love New Orleans blue - I very nearly ordered one in that colour but went for tarty red at the last minute (I blame the dealer for having a red one in the showroom).

Ah, come on mate. How could your frst mod be those 'wipers' when you've still got a nasty case of fried eggs up front.

Actually, I'm surprised I haven't seen any other Pandas with silvervisions, first thing I did when I got it home as the Panda suffers from one of the worst cases I've ever seen.

Ok mate tell me what it is I'm suffering from ('fried eggs') so that I can decide if I want the remedy ('silvervisions').;)

Could it be the brake discs or orange side indicators in the front lamp clusters?

Please excuse my ignorance of this particular motoring aesthetic ailment.

I put the wipers on because the wiper that come with my last panda only lasted a month, and i had them on my last panda, and i thought the blue ones would look nice on a blue car.

when i looked at a 100hp i thought about the fried egg headlights too lol

Where the indicator is orange, you can replace the bulb with a silver bulb which still lights up orange :) improves looks no end, in my opinion anyway :D

I think he's referring to dim headlights.

Ah right.......good enough reason to run around with the front fogs on all the time I guess.;)

I did notice when I flash merging traffic in the inner city motorway system that the CITRAC gantries don't light up as much as they do when I do the same thing in the GTV right enough.

First thing I did was fit my HID PIAA 8500k Plasma Spark FX Bi Xenon :slayer: £102 for a set of bulbs but well worth it and also Silvertech Silver bulbs on the front :D

Love my lights!

With regards to the roof bars, Sorry but imo which is not meant to be taken in any offense, but they take away the sports look of the Panda 100HP and kind of says "should have got a Diesel with roof bars :)"

Nice colour though, I think the 100HP looks great in all colours!

Nope, I did mean the indicators though the headlights aren't great either, then I am used to the HIDs on my V70.

The silvervisions are particularly good on the grey cars as they give a clean monochrome look with just the red highlights.

Aren't those PIAAs just replacement H4 bulbs rather than actual HIDs.

I trust Silvertech aren't those cheap rubbish chromed things that cut the light output drastically as opposed to the high quality Philips silvered ones.

Coming late to this particular post so a lot of silver stuff and fried eggs stuff is way above my head - bottom line? Very nice looking car - same colour as my MJ. Tell me now that it will also do 70 mpg and I'll order one right now :)

Enjoy the 100HP

Hey,

No these are the official H4 PIAA HID conversion kit supplied by PIAA which can be purchased from Demon Tweeks Motorsport by special order.

*Headlight Conversion Kit - H4 MAIN / DIP PAIR

Also when mentioning Silvertech I mention it simply as a technology name not of a manufactor name, the actaul make of the bulbs is Philips and they are around £15 from Demon Tweeks :D

Adam

OK, now I'm confused.

The PIAA Plasma Spark are just very expensive conventional bulbs that mimic HID, so have you got these or have you got genuine HID. The price you stated would imply the former, the PIAA conversion you quoted is in the £550-£650 bracket.

Silvertec are a brand name of the rubbish chromed bulbs made to cash in on the market that Philips created with their Silvervision bulbs.

So, what have you really got?

Sorry my post seemed confusing (y)

I have the HID kit which was £484 and the bulbs which fit this HID kit where an extra £102 which are HID Plasma FX a total of £587.

As for the Chrome bulbs I have Philips bulbs £15 or something which I just told people where Philips Silvertech so people know they where silver indicators, didnt know that there was also a company called silvertech

I purchased Plasma Spark bulbs for the Seicento for around £80 last year but decided they where good but not good enough for the £80 price and splashed out on the HID conversion which luckly also fits the Panda 100HP :slayer: its awesum!

Adam

P.S.... I will stop Hijacking this thread now :)

Cool, thanks for clearing that up. Did you need to hack into the bulb cover to fit them or are they shallow enough to fit as intended?

Jeez Adam......for that price I certainly hope so. Don't do any coastal road driving now will you mate - you'll be a danger to offshore shipping with that kit.

Thanks for the modifying info but I think I'll stick to getting the silver bulbs for the indicator replacement if that cures my 'fried egg syndrome'.

I have in past spent around £2000 on performance and suspension modifications on the ALFA but I reckon the standard Panda headlamp brightness will do me for most UK road conditions. And I don't think I'll be entering for the night stages of this year's World rally Championship.;)
